A pair of high waisted trousers especially designed for tall gals. Pattern is Burda Magazine 07-2010-127. A classic pair of trousers that I suspect will get quite the rotation during the coming months. Very comfortable and warm! Easy to stitch together, no big adjustments were required for me, I love that Burda includes these tall size patterns in the magazine!
I used a lightweight wool fabric, it required 2,5 m. In addition some lining material (just a scrap), interfacing and a zipper.

They look great. They fit so well. You mentioned the only adjustment was the side seam… so the rise fit fine? How tall are you that the pattern worked so well for you?

Yes they worked fine for me, and I am 1.77 cm long, with most of my length in the legs – my waist to hip measurements are quite average.

Your trousers look fabulous! I’m making a pair myself using this sewalong by sunnilj9 (aka TheCupCakeGoddess.com):) Here’s the link: The Trouser Sewalong

They look fantastic! I’ve just cut the muslin for this, in between one and two sizes smaller than I measure on the Burda chart but seems to fit well in the waist but too tight in the hips. How did you find the fitting for yours?

Thank you!
I used the size that matched my measurements the most, and then I had to take it in 2 cm in each side seam from the waist to the hips. So they do have quite a lot of ease.
