Made using a vintage maternity pattern, Weigels 1703 , which I’m guessing is from around the late 1940’s/early 1950’s. This is quite a neat pattern – the pleats at the front fasten with hooks and thread loops, and can be let out as a baby bump grows (thus not being too tent-like until you need it to be!).

100% cotton (craft weight), with cute little travel icons all over it. Fastens with four mis-matched burgundy buttons. Hooks and thread loops form the four more central front pleats.
