This dress was inspired by a photo I saw of Jackie Kennedy, circa 1960’s. She was visiting India and was wearing a super cute peach dress with an adorable bow belt to match. I love vintage/retro inspired clothing, so I used a Butterwick retro reprint pattern (B5032). I used a taffeta material for the dress and a sateen/satin material for the lining. I finished this dress off with a lapped zipper and a hand sewn blind hem.
Plan a weekend getaway in these sweater dresses and furry accessories.
