Minneapolis, Min...

This is a wonderful blouse that I originally bought the pattern for plans to be Ingrid Bergman from Casablanca for halloween. However, I love the shirt and wear it all the time now! Might make it in more colors soon.

Thanks! Maybe one day it will happen haha. I need to find my Humphrey Bogart first!

I don’t really like mine either though. The fabric I used was a bit too shiny and didn’t work well. I would like to do a darker color less shine maybe. I have made it 2 times and I’m not really happy with either one. So I definately feel your pain! I still wear it under things like a black blazer or a black dress but it just isn’t as great as I wanted it to be. Thanks for the nice comment though!

You’re welcome! May I add that Ingrid Bergman from Casablanca is an excellent halloween costume? I have always wanted to be a old hollywood actress for halloween, like Bette Davis or Ingrid.

I made this same pattern, but my fabric was too thick and it turned out badly. But yours looks great! Makes me want to try it again.
