I feel just like one of the Von Trapp children in this dress, not just because its of a similar shape and pattern but its also made out of a curtain!
I used a vintage vogue pattern for this that a friend lovingly loaned me. It didn’t turn out at all like the picture but I love it none the less. It has princess seams in front and double darts in the back and fits like a glove, as long as I refrain from eating to much cake whilst wearing it.
The fabric is 100% cotton and quite lightweight for a curtian. I got it off ebay for only $4! The pattern and the colours are so vibrant they make me want to twirl and sing like maria!
