These pants were completely inspired by stitchywitch’s The Kate Jeans. I used the same pattern, Vogue 8604. They are made in a navy linen. They were super easy to sew and I feel like they are very flattering. The wide leg definitely balances out the high waist. I wasn’t too sure about the pleats in the front initially, but I am really starting to like them. They add to the vintage feel of the pants.
If you’d like to know more about it, I blogged about it here

Thanks! They are super comfortable. I’m not sure about where to find it for free. I waited until a sale and paid four dollars for it.

Yes, these are lovely! I really like the pleats, unlike other 80s/90s style pleats. I found them flattering before I read your description!

Thanks! I think they worked out well because the linen I used was some sort of blend, I think, and draped really well.
