Notre Dame De Bo...
As the title says it I made this dress for my 50th birthday. This dress is made after Burda 10/2011/116. I did not change anything as far as style is concerned. I just graded up the pattern one size or more to fit my body.
I am quite happy with the result. I like its 60s vibe that I chose to emphasize with two oversized buttons in the back.
Check my blog for more about this and other sewing projects. http://lamachinacoudre.blogspot.com/
I used a combination of two gaberdines as I had not enough on my stash. One was used for the center front band and fot the sleeves one for the rest. The white fabric ic a polyester crepe.
Dress up outerwear with deep shawl collars and sew up a lovely fitted dress with a flounced hemline.
