I call this the “Hang Loose” wrap dress because of the hilarious pictures on my blog. My mom took my pictures and wanted to show the versatility of the dress at work and play, plus I’m totally obsessed with the song Hang Loose by Alabama Shakes.
This is a 3/4 sleeve mock wrap dress by McCall’s – 6163. It has a nice collar, and gathering at the waist and on on each sleeve. It is very comfortable and has a CB seam which makes for a really good fit. My fabric was a stretch knit.

This pattern calls for a zipper. As long as you use a stretch knit, which is recommended on the pattern, you can’t get away without the zipper. I omitted the zipper and I can get the dress off and on just fine.
