Description
I found this lovely soft grey in a summer cotton, and it worked beautifully for the Anda pattern. I added the belt with bow at the back for some detail, as well as the little material roses. I liked the natural crinkle in the material, so left that as is! Ok, to be honest, I spotted the roses first and were so mesmerized I had to find material to use it on :) See the close-up photo, they are beautiful! The pattern was quick and easy, I’ll definitely try it again, maybe with some variations next time :)

Uuh, I’d love to have something like this for the summer. The roses at the neckline are the cutest.

I love the color, the scrunched belt, and the flower “bib”! I thought it was lace at first. Great dress!

Thank you :) I made this one towards the end of last summer and thus did not get a lot of opportunities to wear it, but I definitely will this coming summer! Luckily I’m still a bit of a grey colour fan :)

How did you make your belt?

Hi Tara! sorry for the late reply, haven’t had time to visit the site much recently :( initially, the idea was for an obi wrap belt, but I did not quite follow the idea… but if you are interested search the obi wrap belt on this site, there are patterns available for download, hope that will help :) My belt was in fact just a strip of double material sewn together wrong sides facing. I made it quite wide so i could get the “gathered” effect across the width. Let me know if you have more questions!

The roses really make that dress. The sash too. Beautiful job!

Anda under cover. The dress is gorgeous, and I’d never would’ve guessed it was Anda pattern.

That’s the chiquest version of the Anda pattern I’ve ever seen. Great work.

A perfect way to display the trim! I love the simplicity of the dress to highlight the detail and always love a bow on the back! Just lovely.
