With a couple of metres of georgette, Vogue pattern 1435 (American Designer Original) and some other fancy notions this dress was built to handle the hot weather we’re having here in Melbourne and looks lovely swanning about the Royal Botanical gardens too. You can see more pics on my Blog and my Sew Weekly contributor post here.
3metres of Georgette a couple of beads, scrap booking studs along with a wee zip.

i love this maxi dress! it looks stunning on you and the material is so nice for this cut. adorable as allways! (and “hot weather” sounds so good to me. – we have below zero degrees all day and all night at the moment!)

Great dress – it does look perfect for the hot weather (wish we could get some more of it here in Sydney – summer has barely touched us this year!) I love your picture in front of the carved doors too.

I know it’s been raining a lot there, enough to maybe stay in and get some sewing done perhaps? Thank you, glad you like the dress and piccy.

That’s what I thought when it came off the sewing machine, was wondering if I could pull it off.

If you came up to Brisbane you would need to add gumboots to wear with this great dress. It does look cool on and great on you too.

Thank you Schnui, mother-nature has been misbehaving with all this rain and what not, hope it calms down sooner than later. Thank you for your lovely comment.
