The Ghastlies Dress

Added Jan 8, 2014

Brisbane, Australia

I love the Ghastlies fabric by Alexander Henry. It’s a bit Dickensian and a bit Tim Burton and I just love it. I made Vogue1353 in size 12 and it fit perfectly with no adjustments. Yay! The bodice is lined with a pale pink gingham cotton, the skirt is unlined.

My I ask your size in retail clothes? It’s lovely I usually have to use two different sizes due to large breast. Just wondering if this is a good pattern for me. I’m a 12 with 36f so a 16 top.

I wear a 12 in retail clothes as well (I live in Australia so sizing might be a bit different!). I didn’t have to make any adjustments around the bust but am usually a D cup. I hope that is helpful!!
