I designed this dress for an evening out with my lady friends. The plan was to have champagne and caviar hors d’ oeuvres and then take a limo to dinner and go dancing afterwards, so I needed a dress with a lot of fancy pizazz! I used dupioni (a silk/cotton blend) for the dress and tulle underneath to give the skirt more body. I made a matching clutch as well.
