Here’s a look at the Francheska dress. My favorite thing about this dress is the wild contrast of colors, playing bright orange and electric blue against each other. The pattern I started this dress with was NewLook pattern 0910. I was about 90% done with the bodice when I realized I just didn’t like it, lol. The sleeves just weren’t doing it for me, not to mention the general fit of the bodice wasn’t as fitted as I prefer. So I pulled up another dress pattern that had a sleeveless bodice with a look that made more sense style-wise. I drafted the ‘peter pan’ collar from scratch & added blue side godets to give the skirt more drama (especially when you twirl around in it). The last playful details are the lime green color of the dresses’ zipper and vibrant blue sash=) As soon as my internet is back up I’ll upload some more pictures.
