This was the first dress I ever made! I’m very happy with the result: the different look and the freedom of movements it allows. I used a Polyester fabric with a silky touch (I have no idea of its proper name). Following the instructions, it took me quite a while to put the numerous pieces of A4 paper together, but once done, I found it rather simple to cut and sew it. The dress came out a bit too large on the waist (probably due to inaccurate cutting) so I used a black strip of fabric as a belt – it corrected the problem and gave a nice shape to my waist line!
