This was my first attempt at a vintage pattern (Simplicity 7270, printed in 1967), and also at border prints.
I used a heavyweight viscose “coupon” purchased from Paris, all for €10 (and I still have quite a lot left :D )
I had to make quite a few design adjustments to the pattern, mainly to reduce the width around the waistline. Although this means that a lot of the 60s style is lost in the process, I do prefer the finished version a lot better.
