This is my first garment that I made without any help, and is now quite possibly one of my favorite shirts. I chose the biggest size because I was unsure of the fit, since the pattern I chose was a women’s pattern. While I think I’ll choose a smaller size the next time, I kind of love how big and a bit ill-fitting it is. It’s super loose and perfect for the beach. I’ve been wearing it out and about, too, although, as it is so loose, am guilty of the occasional nipple-slip from time to time :/
Carol, BurdaStyle’s Partnership Manager, gave me this beautiful fabric from Robert Kaufman, which I absolutely adore. I’m really into marble prints at the moment, and I love that it’s paired with polka dots :)
BTW..the title of the project is a song by Bjork, which is amazing and currently stuck in my head.

Oh David, it looks like you really enjoyed sewing your “Earth Intruder Tank Top”. I am with you on the fabric, it is absolutely gorgeous. Also, don’t worry so much about the fit, especially if you like the looser fit. Personally I like this style on you. You did a awesome job!
