Right at this moment this dress is my favourite (probaly because I finished it in the morning:-)). I really had several sources of inspiration that gathered together in this dress:)
Well, let’s start with the fabric – it’s jersey with which I don’t work often but the projects on this site made by many wonderful crafters encouraged me a lot not to be a coward. Besides, as for the print, in the shop my friend and a shop assistant surely had doubts as for my choice ( I’m glad I didn’t follow anybody’s advice:)). And this year first time in my life I wanted to buy and to wear a ring, of course, it required a special dress:)) Thus all these reasons together broght this dress to life:)
The dress is from Burda 5/2008, #104.
Some piece of advice: the draped part with a buckle is quite a heavy detail so when trying the dress on, decrease the width of it from the top to the waist (on the last picture), in this way it fits better. I also lengthened both the body and the shoulder line otherwise the dress would be disbalanced – the skirt part would be too cumbersome. And I decreased the cut-out for 3 cm to wear this outfit to work.
