I feel like I should be in a Gin Blossoms music video when I wear this dress, but I don’t care.
I used the Coffee Date pattern. Largely inspired by Juleken’s “a date in the cornfield” rendition, I decided to make it into a shirt dress. I omitted the ruffle, and split open the bodice and added buttons to make it compatible for nursing my baby. Because I used a cotton knit, I did not have to add a zipper! It just pulls on easily. This dress was a breeze to make, and it’s a joy to wear! This great pattern gave me the freedom to improvise, and now I have a dress that I can wear any day of the week, just about anywhere!
