Battle Creek, Un...
The Don Rickles dress is finished! This was a tough make for me. Not because the pattern was difficult (it wasn’t) but I’ve been actively trying to lose weight all winter and every time I put on the muslin the fit had changed. It’s not perfect, but it’s as close as I’m going to get right now.
I’m particularly pleased with how the hand picked zipper came out….and the fact that the top back and waistband all match! I wish I’d done a better job of pattern matching the back seam, but whatever. The pattern is McCalls 6699. The fabric is all from Joann’s: Nylon-Cotton lace underlined with cotton sateen and lined with rayon.
OH, I should mention, It’s called the Don Rickles dress because hubby and I scored tickets to see him, and this dress was made to wear to the show.
30 select jacket and coat patterns are now marked down to $3.99.
