Finally! It is about one and a half years ago that I was asked to contribute something to the first BurdaStyle Sewing Handbook and I was so thrilled! But we were not allowed to talk/post about it for such a long time now that it actually feels strange to finally show and tell. So this is my contribution – I changed a few things from the original pattern: I made the collar higher, used a zipper instead of the buttons, made a balloon shaped hem, widened the sleeves at the cuffs (bishop sleeves) and added that really wide belt. Aw, thank you!!! Yes, lots of people commented on the Russian vibe and even though it wasn’t planned, I guess it’s a reference to my Russian name ;-)
