A friend having a baby…. good time to start putting some more quilting time in!! It is a girl so I thought- ok, PINK… and then I saw how well it contrasted with the back… Hmm. Its a very funky banket, busy and I don’t suppose to everyones taste but I am actually very pleased with it. It took me forever to get done as it was inbetween moving and, actually I still have to edge it- in black- naturally!! =)
I went fabric shopping in my favourite Turkish market and I bought a whole heap of mix fabrics- I even got some indian style material. That was fun!! Isn’t it hard to concentrate on a colour scheme when there is so much on offer??
Cottons.... I hope!

This is so beautiful, I love it! Do I get it right, that there is one side pink with that multicolored centre, and the other side black? Did you quilt the pink part by hand? It looks like a hell lot of work! :)

It seems beautiful, but could you upload a large- view picture? Like over a bed, or something? I really want to see how it looks.
