I made the pattern and everything for this skirt myself, it was a lot of work but totally worth it. It was inspired by a Modcloth skirt that I saw and loved.
The skirt has shirring at the back that is covered by a bow from the waistband. The underskirt has a lace border at the bottom, a cute heart ribbon and side pockets with white bias added to the seams.
All materials came from my mom’s stash. The fabric was only 1,40 m x 0,77 m so it was quite a challenge to get this skirt out of it!
I’m not sure if this skirt is not a bit too cute for me….
I used elegantmusing’s shaped pockets tutorial for the pockets.
