My Carl (JJ) blouse, last post of the year. I loved this pattern, and will definitely be sewing up more versions in the near future, maybe with ruffles, probably not.
This was made with a vintage plaid cotton I snagged from my mom. The weave was off a little toward one selvedge, and there was just enough for the shirt. I was indecisive about the ruffles, and found out there wouldn’t be enough yardage for them anyway (I’m kind of glad). I did a slight variation on the armband by making a loop instead of buttonhole. So happy that ease was included in the pattern!
