The Color Blocked Dress Made From Scraps

Description
I love easy shift dresses for work, and I wanted to make a bold, asymmetrical color blocked dress to add a little punch to dreary Monday mornings at the office. I was even more inspired when I realized I could make this dress entirely from scraps of fabric leftover from previous projects (black faux leather, navy blue cotton poplin, and white mystery fabric, which was probably some kind of poly blend), with a heavy duty zipper going down the back for a little edge. The result is a stylish yet comfortable dress that I can actually breathe and eat in!
This dress was made using a self-drafted pattern.
