  I love your dress, but I think that elainemay could sue you. You shouldn’t sell product that is not your pattern.

    it was more promoting my website. but thanks I didnt think of that. The dress was actually made as a donation for self promotion.

    Since all the patterns on the site are open source and copyright free, anyone is able to create and sell creations from any pattern uploaded onto the site! That’s the beauty of BurdaStyle!

    More a case of making one dress for a client, based on a pattern they like, exactly as I do all the time for clients using commercial patterns. No problem, as she isn’t making a whole factory load of them to sell.
