Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This is a copy of the dress Zooey Deschanel wears in the opening credits of New Girl.
The dress is a mix of 2 patterns, the bodice and skirt are from Burda’s Swing Dress 08/2012 #133 and the sleeves/armholes are from Burda’s Turtleneck 09/2012 #104B. The skirt has 5cm pleats. I kept the ease for seasonal overeating reasons so there was no need for a zipper. I serged almost everything so it went up very quickly and I was right on time for Christmas shenanigans.
