I made this tunic 2-3 weeks ago. It is made with pure silk charmeuse and silk organza. I do not know the name of the work I did on because…..I got the inspiration from the “Battemberg lace”, so I did a kind of design thinking of some ofthe flowers that we have here in Costa Rica called: Birds of` paradise……if you know them, may be you can see them in my design. All the work is hand made, and I spended hours upon hours making it…..but…..I like to complicate my self, so….I really enjoy the time while I was doing it!!!! I also made a camisole to go under.
Pure silk, and embroidery thread.

Love the detail in this! You are amazing! I like hand work too. It adds that element of couture to a garment. Nice job Adriana!

Hi Gabriele! Thank you for your comments, and yes, you are right, hand work makes a difference in the things that we do in sewing.

I don’t mind at all, Adriana. My favourite uncle used to call me that when I was little. I love the nickname.
