Sometimes you have a fabric or yarn that is really beautiful, but no matter where you search, you don’t find the right project for it. This fabric, picked up at a sale for about 3€, was a lost cause. I browsed through what felt like hundreds of dress patterns, but to no avail, until I was sick and tired of it and made this blouse. It’s …. very big. I’m not sure if I’ll adjust the darts or just wear it with a belt. (Again with the belts. I really need more belts.) I’m leaning towards belts because university has started again and I won’t have that much time for sewing.

Thank you! The pencil skirt is such a good idea, I’m thinking a black one would be perfect for it. *updates her mental project list’

So true. There’s no end to the things I want to make. But that’s the beautiful thing about it, I never run out of things to do!
