The only alterations made were the button holes and adding piping to the pockets and flaps

this is gorgeous! I’m making the same coat in blue! I’m not that experienced so I’m learning in the process. the body is done. now i need to attach the collar and th pockets. the collar is giving me some trouble! how did you manage to grt it done so beautifully!?!?

Hi Michaela. I anticipated some trouble with the collar, so I cut it and marked it very carefully. When you sew the collar and the collar strip together, it shoud look like a single piece. Then iron, iron,iron, until it gets the shape you like (Specially if you think it´s going to be too short on the neck.

I made size 38, the one I normally use. I was ready to make one size bigger, but I made a muslin and realize Burda has thought about the ease too. Great pattern
