  this is gorgeous! I’m making the same coat in blue! I’m not that experienced so I’m learning in the process. the body is done. now i need to attach the collar and th pockets. the collar is giving me some trouble! how did you manage to grt it done so beautifully!?!?

    Hi Michaela. I anticipated some trouble with the collar, so I cut it and marked it very carefully. When you sew the collar and the collar strip together, it shoud look like a single piece. Then iron, iron,iron, until it gets the shape you like (Specially if you think it´s going to be too short on the neck.

  Merche, you are so fast!….and your coat is so lovely…good to see this made up as nicely as it looks i the magazine (no doubt more than partially due to your fabulous sewing skills :) ) …but still gives us less skilled some hope we could someday make this.

    I made size 38, the one I normally use. I was ready to make one size bigger, but I made a muslin and realize Burda has thought about the ease too. Great pattern
