The Birthday darling Ranges Dress

Added Aug 14, 2013

by rachp

Halifax, United ...

Made from Megan Neilsen’s Darling Ranges pattern, with some adjustments.
I love that it is perfect for Spring or cooler Summer days, but that it also works with tights and boots for the colder months. (I don’t love that it is looking rather crumpled after wearing it all day!)

You can see more about it on my blog

This looks better than the pattern cover. Great job. Now, if I can figure out how to get the pattern, I’d like to tr it as a top.

Thank you for the compliment – and yeah – this pattern is suddenly a rarity! Even the Megan Neilsen site does not currently stock it (though they do have a list of retailers, so you might be able to track one down).

It’s very pretty, looks like a great wordrobe piece that could transition from Summer to Autumn.

Thanks – it’s a great transitional dress – and so easy to make that I’m planning on a couple more in my wardrobe!
