Burda Style For people who sew

this makes 60 projects in my burdastyle studio, i cannot believe it!!!
also in my unbelievable column, i made this dress in two. hours. TWO HOURS! i was so puffed up about it, i cut another one out the next day— forgetting that cotton voile and silk do not behave the same as stretch jersey.

It is beautiful and unbievable that it came together in 2 hours! In the pictures it is difficult to tell if that braided trim has purple in it. Does it?

this was the first time i really used trim as a major detail— went crazy in the garment district shortly thereafter, now i want to add detail to EVERYTHING. this could get scary.
