I loved the Ruby shorts pattern when I tried it 2 or 3 years ago, so I decided to use it again this summer, to make a maternity pair of shorts for my seaside vacations.
I simplified the pattern to the max, ie, I ommitted the buttons and used an elastic band for the waistband, which is made of a single piece of fabric (instead of all the little bits from the original pattern). I lowered it in order to give more room for the belly.
