Burda Style For people who sew
Description
In Greece we use to have a “party” just a few days before the wedding. We call it “the bed-making party”. The new couple-to-be, invite family and friends at their new home and young girls “make the bed” and then we all put money and small gifts on it, for good luck. I wanted something nice and bright for my nieces bed-making party, so I sew this blouse. It’s very simple, with an almost-cowl neck (I didn’t have any pattern). I think I’ll wear it again… (not so sure about that).
