Description

I made this skirt in 2008 while I was taking fabric technology at high school. It’s a plain black high waisted skirt with a zip at the back, four darts and is also lined. I think I got all of the material from the scraps basket in our classroom. The lining is actually gold, not that you see it, but I know it’s neat on the inside. I’m fairly sure it was a simplicity pattern I used, as that all they had at school.

I haven’t had many opportunities to wear it as it’s quite formal and I’m still studying, but I think think it’s something which will be more useful as I get older and some of my more eccentric clothes have to go in place of practical work clothes.
