This is a very lovely but slightly boring linen skirt from M&S which I picked up from a charity shop a few years ago. It has a slight A-line and wears very nicely, but it needed something to jazz it up a little.
I cut up two silk ties and made them into puffs (yo-yos), sewed them on by hand et voila, a whole lot better. Because the silk is light, they don’t weigh the skirt down. Worn to the office with much success!
Plain skirt, two silk ties, hand needle and thread.
