Description

Another new skirt in my wardrobe, whose pattern was on my “to sew”-list for long long time. I did only one alteration: I separated the tie-belt as an extra piece, so that the skirt can be worn with or without him. To bring the skirt and the belt togehter I use buttons in the back. I like the the ballon-shape with the pleats as much as the very high waist, when I wear the skirt together with the belt.

Material Notes

black poly-cotton blend, red and white gingham bias-tape for the hemline

This skirt is so perfect and feminine! I would love it if you did a guest post on my blog about this skirt and a little bit about your creative process in making it! Let me know if you are interested :)

I love this! My daughter#1 does also. Thanks for the pattern info. It looks nice without the sash, but with the sash and bow, it’s AWESOME!

Did you use a commercial pattern or is it a self draft, my daughter loves this skirt and I would love to make one for her.
