Description

I design pirate clothing for myself. I have a signature look that I market as “Captain Ava ‘The Black Widow’ Morley”. I try to stay true to 17th century fashion trends but add some embellishments of my own. I love poofy sleeves and bell sleeves.

Historically, the more fabric your sleeves had was an indication of how wealthy you were because you could afford to “waste” fabric on voluptuous sleeves.
