This is the very popular V8280, Roland Mouret Galaxy Dress copy by Vogue! I made a toile to check the sleeves as so many have had comments to make, likening them to American football atire! I needed this dress to come together quickly and without too much jip so I omitted the sleeves. Was a bit worried it would look boring but actually its a really nice fitting classy dress!
I had to take the bodice in a couple of inches under the arm but that was relatively easy. And though the pattern only calls for lining in the bodice, I lined the skirt too.
I used a beautiful wool crepe and lined with silk.
