Description

Drafted from scratch using instructions from Enid Gilchrist’s Pinnies n’ Things book. This pattern can easily be modified into a very wearable summer dress (just sew up the back of the skirt and have the ties higher up across the back.

Just been to your blog, it’s fantastic I just adore it – but what got me was seeing this material “The Secret Garden” I have a few yards of this stuff, bought it without a project in mind. Was thinking “apron” as it’s like oilcloth? now that I see you modeling it I know apron it shall be. PS you’re no “intermediate” I think you’re advanced. At least by today’s standards. Cheers thank you for your just lovely posts and all of your instructive and useful things you put on the blog.
