I was always distracted by the bright pink but you just made me realize that this is a really great pattern! Did you raise the elastic? Yours looks higher than the pic.

I did shift the casing upwards. I wanted it a bit more baby belly friendly for a friend of mine, plus it suits my waist better a tad higher.

I know the dilemma. It took me weeks to decide on what would become of the very limited amount of fabric! I think I might have managed it with enough leftovers to wrangle a cardi as well. Good luck – I’ll keep my eye out for your project.
