An apron for my sister’s birthday – she just asked for an apron and gave me complete creative license! I used a quilting cotton with dandelions on it – I love how it looks like they are shedding their seeds to the wind.
I didn’t use a pattern for this apron, but in searching around for apron inspiration I came across the immensely popular Emmeline apron pattern (Sew Liberated). I loved the design but didn’t have time to order the pattern and wait for it to arrive (birthday = deadline). I made my own pattern based on the many photos available online and I’m really happy with how it turned out!
Take a trip down the aisle in these gorgeous gowns, or change the fabrics for a spring party dress.
