This blouse came out of some old nightgown that I found in my mom’s closet. Poor thing was heavy worn out and on the elbows and the back of it fabric was literally see through! But I really loved the front yoke so I decided to try and recreate it into something wearable. This is what came out.
All in all, I’m quite happy with how it turned out. It’s a simple A line blouse, without any darts. I kept the original front yoke, only buttons are replaced with the new ones. Buttons on the back are functional though there is no real need for them. Except for extra cuteness :) My favorite part are two piece cap sleeves! I was inspired with this project, so I tried to make something similar.
