I made this Jamie Christina pattern after receiving it in a giveaway from Handmade Jane. I made a size 8, without making a muslin and the fit was perfect. I did alter the sleeve from 3/4 to full length.
I wanted a stylish jacket to wear with dresses, jeans and that was smart enough for work too. I think I got this with this pattern.
The instructions were easy to follow and the Red gaberdine was easy to sew with. I’ve never used this type of fabric before and am looking forward to making something with the other 3m I have – any Suggestions?

Cotton gaberdine for the shell and facings – approx 2m, lightweight floral cotton for the lining less than 2m and 5 23mm buttons.
