i have been on the hunt for a period cloche pattern for 2 maybe 3 years now. i decided to make the “paneled” (if you will?) cloche even though i thought it wouldn’t be what i wanted it to be. i definatly can’t form felt over a form so i used the pattern called the easy beanie. i added 5/8 seam to the child and it was small so i ripped the seams and used about 1/2 seam allowance. for the brim i made the average turned tube and top stiched everything. i didn’t make it long enough so i (artfully?) folded the ends into the 2 bows with no middle piece and hand stitched them in place. oh and the dog needed one too.
