Description
Another vintage pattern all sewn up! I stayed pretty close to the original and used a vintage sewing book to get the techniques right. I have posted several details about it on my blog. Have been reading the snap button placket tutorial on your blog – I’m surprised it doesn’t require a hook & eye at the waistline to take the actual strain off the snap fasteners?

Re. the pattern choice on your blog (sorry, I can’t even_ see_ the comments under your new system without reading the raw HTML page source, let alone post any!) – like everyone else I think you ought to make the white 1930s dress, especially if it comes out as gorgeous as this one. And if not that one then the 1903 blouse, with all that pleating….

Oooh thank you!! Yes, the coat is also made by me and even was originally meant as a combo. However, the way I sewed it up (fabric choices) I really think I’ll be wearing them separately.
