Description

When I received Burdastyle October 2013 issue, I fell in love with the Woodstock collection. The swirl skirt is the one that got my attention more. It reminded me of many things from my childhood that made me feel nostalgic. Paisley fashion fabric was harder to find than I thought – most I found were for home decor and some didn’t match kind of material for this project. I decided to try different print and found this floral print. That was close enough to the paisley print. This skirt is made with 4 print and 4 solid panels sewn together. The zipper is sewn in odd place that makes it a bit difficult to zip in both ways. Other than that, it was fun to sew!
