Burda Style For people who sew

New Look 6725
I made this dress in April 2012. If I make this dress again I would use appropriate fabric (cotton blends, rayon blends, etc.). I just couldn’t pass up this print and this project was just for fun. I hemmed the cuffs by hand, and accidentally stabbed my thumb, hence the band-aid. I had my mom take the photos. I wore this ensemble to church as pictured.
Material Notes
I think it’s upholstery fabric. It has no give, it reminds me of canvas and it frays badly, I only chose it because it was in my stash and I think the print is perfect for this project.
