These shorts are a great summer essential, based on the BurdaStyle Thai Pants. I shortened the length and added 2 hidden buttons on each leg which allow adjusting to 2 different lengths – can be rolled up or hung down.

These look really good as shorts. I was iffy on the pattern as pants, but you’ve done a nice job on altering it. I like these photos, you have great style. :)

Wow the Thai fisherman pants translate really well to shorts! Yours look so cool and I love how they can be worn at two lengths :)

thanks, I have sold many at my weekend market, they are a great relaxed look, will need to make more in the pant version as cooler weather reaches OZ.

Wow! Great idea! I never even thought to shorten the pants into shorts. I never really liked the style of the fisherman pants but I love these shorts! Great job.

Originally I made a pair of the pants, never wore them much, then one hot day took scissors to the pants… and thai fisherman shorts were born!
