I found this wonderfully geeky Tetris border print fabric on Spoonflower, and it had to be mine. It had been sitting in the stash for the better part of a year though, before I brought it out a few weeks back to finally make a start on it.

The bodice is a little high cut for my liking, and that’s after I cut the neckline almost two inches lower than the pattern. But on the whole, I am extremely happy with this one!

It’s just the basic cotton, the cheapest one. Spoonflower has amazing stuff but it’s not cheap!

Very nice dress. Your fabric design idea worked perfect. What is the pattern number? I like this pattern. Dress looks great on you.

      Thank you!

The pattern is Simplicity 2886 – the same pattern I used for my Time And Relative Dimension In Sewing dress, but with the other bodice.
