I’ve been dying to make a jacket from one of my many patterns, but have been a bit intimidated..so I did a test run with some flannel.
I didn’t use a pattern, I unpicked an existing jacket and used the pieces to create a new pattern, altering the sleeves, length, and collar.
It didn’t turn out how I would have liked, I wanted it to have a bit more “swing” in the body, but at least it fits well.
Also, my fear of jacket making has diminished:)
Flannel, interfacing.
